Chair Yoga every Monday at 10:15am @ Yoga Source

‘Chair’ is a very helpful tool(prop) for practicing yoga. ‘Chair’ could help you to ground(stability), to elongate(space), and to learn body awareness.

<why practice?>

  • Hard to get up from the floor BECAUSE of injuries, sickness, elderly and etc..
  • Have balance issues
  • Want to learn how to use chair for your yoga practice

It is worth to try!!

<what to expect?>

We practice while sitting in chair or standing while holding chair. We also use other props which are blocks, strap, blanket etc.. to adjust to various people’s needs and to make more yoga pose(Asanas) accessible. Breathing practice(Pranayama) and/or Meditation(short) included.

Let’s improve your body function, self-awareness, and clarity in your mind, while bringing a sense of calmness and balance to your emotions.

Let’s practice YOGA outside. Enjoy taking a moment, moving your body, breathing and nature it is. Beginners are welcome. Rie and I will lead you. Surprising Savasana could happen. 

Hopeful sunny. If rain drops, nature center would be kindly open and let us practice still in nature. 

$2 suggested donation to help the park’s nature center bring environmental program to kids.
